Celtic: Celtic music has a strong historical tradition in Scotland, often using instruments such as fiddle, bagpipes, whistles and bodhran. Scotland's native music has many similarities to Irish music and is very popular throughout the world. The Fèisean movement has helped to nurture Scottish and Gaelic music in the last 20 years. This has brought through a wealth of young talent, much of which is showcased annually at the Mod and Glasgow's internationally acclaimed Celtic Connections Festival.
