About The Scuffers
|
Glasgow alt-country, honky tonk band, The Scuffers, release their debut album on 10th November 2007. The album is entitled 'The Life I've Had' and comprises 12 tracks the band have been gigging over the past couple of years.
The Scuffers' sound owes as much to modern Americana (Ryan Adams/Uncle Tupelo) as it does to old-time country (Buddy Miller, Hank Williams), and although firmly grounded in American music, their songs have a distinctively Scottish feel, due to lead singer Gavin Wallace's distinctive lyric-writing style. |
