THE NUKES, are a new original 3 piece instrumental band based in edinburgh. Their sound has been described as Surf'n'Western, or Ennio Morricone meets Dick Dale. Currently they are promoting their debut album PICNIC IN PEKING ,which was recorded at the legendary Toerag Studios in London, and was produced by Liam Watson, who has previously worked with The White Stripes, The Masonics, The Datsuns, and The Thanes.

Gigs coming up include 2 Edinburgh dates , 5th Sept at The Meridian on Leith Walk 8pm and 19th of September , Henrys cellar bar < Morrison St. with Canadian super surfers The Reverb Syndicate 8pm.
We are currently finalising tracks for a new album, which will hopefully be recorded by the end of the year back at Toerag. |
