Scocha is one of Scotland’s premier folk bands. They have delighted audiences home and abroad with their unique brand of Scottish “Folk ‘n’ Roll”. With a wide reaching repertoire ranging from exciting, foot-stomping, hand-clapping songs to stirring anthems and emotional ballads. Scocha’s haunting vocals blend perfectly with a variety of instruments including guitars, whistles, Bodhrans and bagpipes. All peppered with a unique cheery “banter” typical of Scotland.
Scocha comprises Iain Scott, David Chapman, Phil Clayton, Alan Brydon and Dougie "Animal" Anderson.

With a wide reaching and enthusiastically loyal fan base, Scocha’s music is spreading fast. With a home base in Scotland, CD sales have come from all over the world, from Australia and New Zealand to the USA , to mainland Europe as well as the length and breadth of the UK
The boys have recently returned from a second hugely successful trip to New York where they gave a series of performances during Tartan Week including being the first folk band ever to appear in the famous parade in their own right and performances on Ellis Island and Grand Central Station. Upon their return to Scotland they gave a special performances at the new Scottish Parliament buildings.
Scocha have released three albums; (Bordering On, Land We Love and Gie'd Sum Wellie) and one single (The Borders). Their fourth album is currently in production.
