Jordan Ogg's debut album, Before The Wind is an acoustic folk record featuring ’s super-unique voice at its centre. The 10 songs, recorded using only 1 vintage microphone, are delivered on guitar, piano, glockenspiel and harmonica. The subject matter is eclectic: from tales of gothic romance; to a fight between Spring and Summer; ghosts in the floorboards; and time travel back to the haze of 1970’s New York.
Now based in, and gigging regularly in Edinburgh and Glasgow, ’s musical career has marked many wonderful experiences, the most recent of which include a live session on Tom Morton’s BBC Radio show, and playing the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow. With plans underway for a national tour in the summer and winter of 2008, the future is looking bright too.

Radio 2’s Mark Radcliffe
‘I REALLY like [his] voice. It's almost hard to tell whether it's a girl or boy singing some of the time which I think is great.’
BBC Scotland’s Tom Morton
‘It’s all there: great voice, great melodies, interesting lyrics.’
Robert McNeil in The Scotsman
‘I hope Jordan Ogg doesn’t give up the dream, his songs show great maturity for one so young and his performance was admirable.’
Chris Catley in The Skinny
‘Beautiful’
Neil Riddel, The Shetland Times
‘Beautiful at it’s best’
