Singer songwriter acoustic guitarist.

Originally from Dundee now living in Lanarkshire John has been performing for a number of years both as a solo artist and as a member of the folk group "Cruachan". In his debut album "Bridges"  John reflects on his connections with his home town and the wider world. His early influences of the folk revival are evident in songs of protest and social comment like "21st Century" and "Baby Boomer Blues", the influence of traditional music in the lyrical "The Old Town" and "To Mary Shelly" and his love of blues in the humerous songs "A Mystery" and "Good Health"
