One of the most esteemed and influential Scottish folk bands, JOCK TAMSON'S BAIRNS grew out of the vibrant session scene in 1970's Edinburgh, centred on the legendary Sandy Bell's Bar, and evolved into a seminal group of the late 70's/early 80's, playing a modem interpretation of an authentically traditional, acoustic and exclusively Scottish music.
