JIM MALCOLM is a singer/songwriter and instrumentalist from Perthshire, now resident in Edinburgh, who has worked with a variety of Edinburgh groups and more recently has been concentrating on a professional solo career. On stage Jim plays mainly guitar and harmonica, and sings a mixture of traditional and self-penned songs. His stage presentation is both dynamic and entertaining and these talents have established him as compere of Edinburgh Folk Festival's highly successful 'open stage'  where he performs and presents a diversity of talent to enthusiastic and capacity audiences.
