The legendary Gordon Duncan is one of the most innovative pipers to have come from Scotland. As a very talented composer, he has many fine tunes to his credit which have been recorded by many other pipers and musicians from the folk scene.

Gordon  worked with some of the best musicians in the country including The Tannahill Weavers, Wolfstone, Capercaillie and The Dougie MacLean Band.   The dexterity of his fingering had to be seen to be believed and this, combined with his versatility, always pleased and excited audiences whenever he played.

Gordon won many accolades for his piping including the prestigious MacAllan trophy at the Lorient Festival in Brittany. He was a special performer and a world class entertainer.

Gordon Duncan sadly passed away, aged only 41, on 14th December 2005.
