A finalist in the inaugural Young Scottish Traditional Musician of the Year competition and winner of the All Britain Fleadh for tenor-banjo in 2001.

 Celine, who plays fiddle, tenor banjo and mandocello, was featured alongside Keith Easdale, at Celtic Connections Master & Apprentice concerts and she also toured in 2003 with the 3 Scottish tenors. Celine Donoghue recently received the 'Auleen Theriault Young Tradition Award' from the Goderich Celtic Festival Ontario Canada.
