Hi, Ann here!
I'm a wee Scottish person living up in the mystical Highlands in a place called Sallachy, this is where I create all my music. In fact, the song 'Loch Long' was inspired by the very loch that I look out on every morning.
I was a pretend hippie in the '60s and joined a band called 'Tanglewood Appleberry', moved on to rock chic then to Trad music & Mouth music, playing the spoons and djembe. I have been playing the piano since 6 years of age.
I am currently doing the tourist circuit in the hotels round here and also play classic rock covers with a guy called Neville Roscoe, we're called Nev-Anna. You can catch me in the Loch Duich pub on sundays playing Trad Scottish with 'John the Box'.
I played last year at the Skye festival with Doc Livingstone Band, had one of my own songs played on 'Ian Anderson's Fine Tunes' and Jim Hunter chose one of my songs to appear on his cd of scottish songwriters, called 'Spirit of the Land'.
I am now inspired to create a new album and will resurrect loads of rocky/very different songs that I wrote lightyears ago. You may find it here on Scotloads.com in the near future so please do call again soon. Until then, take care :)
