 Alasdair MacCuish & Blackrose Ceilidh Band were wll deserved winners when they took the "Best Ceilidh Band" award at the Trad Music Awards in 2003.  Alasdair Maccuish currently works for Radio Scotland's 'Celtic Connections' and 'Pipeline' programs.  The band have made numerous TV and radio appearances in recent years and have produced four studio albums to date.
