As a solo performer, Al’s style is often categorised as Country, Folk or Americana, with Al himself citing Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and The Grateful Dead, amongst others, as key influences. Although still in its infancy, Al’s solo work has gathered momentum of late with positive feedback from audiences, fellow musicians and promoters. His debut mini-album ’Done and Dusted’ is out now on Edinburgh label Slow Train Records.
